Time to meet the real stars of the park.

14:40 - 15:40 | Rinca Island: Komodo Dragons
Guided short walk to spot Komodo dragons in the wild. Keep your camera ready but stay with the ranger.

15:40 - 16:00 | To Kalong Island
Head to the best seat in the house for sunset.

16:00 - 18:30 | Kalong Island Sunset & Flying Foxes
This is the main event. Watch the sky turn orange as thousands of giant fruit bats fly out from the mangroves. Pure Komodo magic.

Booking & Payment

• Reservations are confirmed only after the required payment has been received.

• Full payment must be completed before the departure date unless otherwise agreed in writing.

• Please send proof of payment after completing your transfer.

Departure Time

• Guests must arrive at the designated meeting point at least 30 minutes before departure.

• The boat departs on schedule. Late arrivals may miss the tour without refund.

Itinerary

The Sunset Tour typically includes:

• Kelor Island (Treking & Snorkeling)

• Menjerite Island (Snorkeling)

• Rinca Island (Treking & Komodo)

• Kalong Island (Flying Fox Sunset)

The itinerary and order of destinations may be adjusted due to weather conditions, sea conditions, tides, harbor operations, or instructions from the captain and local authorities. The safety of all guests is always our highest priority.

Sunset Viewing

• Sunset is a natural phenomenon and cannot be guaranteed.

• Weather conditions such as clouds, rain, haze, or strong winds may affect visibility, and this shall not be considered grounds for a refund.

National Park Regulations

• All guests must follow the regulations of Komodo National Park and the instructions of the ranger, guide, and boat crew.

• Guests must respect wildlife and are prohibited from feeding or disturbing animals.

• Entrance fees to Komodo National Park are subject to government regulations and may change without prior notice.

Safety

• The captain has the authority to modify the route or cancel the tour if weather or sea conditions are considered unsafe.

• Guests must follow all safety instructions provided by the crew.

• Swimming and snorkeling are only permitted in designated areas and under the guide's supervision.

Health

• Guests should inform us before departure of any medical conditions, allergies, pregnancy, or special requirements.

• The tour may not be suitable for individuals with serious medical conditions or limited mobility.

Cancellation by Guest

• More than 7 days before departure: 90% refund.

• 3–7 days before departure: 50% refund.

• Less than 72 hours before departure, no-show, or late arrival: No refund.

Cancellation by Operator

If the tour is cancelled due to extreme weather, government restrictions, harbor closure, or other force majeure events, guests may choose to:

• Reschedule to another available date, or

• Receive a refund for the tour price, excluding any third-party costs already incurred where applicable.

Force Majeure

The operator shall not be held responsible for delays, itinerary changes, or cancellations caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, government regulations, harbor closure, strong currents, or other unforeseen events affecting the safety of the tour.

Personal Belongings

Guests are responsible for their personal belongings. The operator is not liable for any loss, theft, or damage to personal items during the tour.

Environmental Responsibility

Guests are expected to help protect Komodo National Park by:

• Not littering.

• Avoiding contact with coral reefs and marine life.

• Respecting wildlife and natural habitats.

• Using environmentally friendly practices whenever possible.

Photography & Media

Photos and videos may be taken during the tour for promotional purposes. Guests who do not wish to appear in promotional materials should notify the guide before departure.

By confirming a booking and participating in the Sunset Tour, guests acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
