Lembor Rice Fields are one of the most scenic agricultural landscapes in West Manggarai, Flores, and a refreshing sight for travelers journeying between Labuan Bajo and Ruteng. Known as the "rice barn" of Flores, this wide lowland area contrasts beautifully with the island's rugged hills and mountains.

1. Largest in NTT
Today, Lembor remains the largest expanse of rice fields in NTT, covering 3,528 hectares. It is known as a source of rice for three Manggarai regencies. A huge swath of land along the main road from Ruteng to Labuan Bajo.

2. Breathtaking Panoramic Views
Discover one of Flores' largest rice fields, offering breathtaking panoramic views of lush green terraces that stretch across the valley. The surrounding is beautifully lush with paddies. Perfect photo stop - after lunch, taking picture at the biggest area of Lembor rice field.

3. Gateway to Spider Web Rice Fields
Usually visited together with the iconic Lingko Cara / Spider Web Rice Fields (Lingko Spider Web). While Lembor is the vast lowland valley, Lingko Cara is nearby at Golo Cara village - the unique circular terraces arranged like a spider web, owned by several families, a testament to ancient agricultural traditions of the Manggarai people.

How to Visit:
Located on the main Trans-Flores road between Labuan Bajo and Ruteng. Morning after breakfast drive up to Ruteng, on the way visit Mirror Stone Cave, Lembor rice field and Golo Cara village. Best during planting season (greenest) or harvest season (golden).
