What Makes It Special?

1. Not Just a Waterfall, It's a Canyon
The nicest view is the cliff of gigantic stones on both sides of river flow in Cunca Wulang. Not the waterfall itself. Towering rock walls create a dramatic canyon gorge filled with emerald green water. It's an easy nature escape from Labuan Bajo but feels like another world.

2. Swim & Cliff Jump
This waterfall was fun to swim in, with sandy spots if you got tired. The main pool is perfect for swimming. For adrenaline seekers, anyone can jump down from the cliff to the river with up to 20m height - but always with a local guide and check water depth first!

3. Easy Jungle Trek
Located about 1 to 1.5 hours from Labuan Bajo by motorbike via the TransFlores highway. The drive is through a picturesque road with little traffic where you can admire the lush landscapes of Flores. From parking, it's only a short 15-20 minute jungle hike to the canyon.

Great outdoor fun - a pleasant way to spend a morning or half-day before flying out of Labuan Bajo.

Tips:

• Best visited in rainy season (Dec-Apr) when water is full, but still beautiful in dry season with clearer pools

• Road to waterfall is a bit challenging - be cautious and use a local guide

• Bring water shoes - rocks can be slippery
