Location: Desa Kawa, Labolewa Village, Aesesa District, Nagekeo Regency - 7 km off main road from Boawae area, short walk from parking
From Bajawa: 1-1.5 hours east to Boawae, then 7km detour north to Kawa
From Ende: 1 hour west to Boawae, then to Kawa
From Ebulobo: Perfect combination - morning hike Mount Ebulobo from Mulakoli/Boawae, afternoon short drive to Kawa Village (same area)
Transport: Car/motorbike from Boawae, then short walk
Entrance: Donation Rp 20k-30k to village head
Best Time: Late afternoon for golden light on houses and rice paddies + sunset
Tips: Combine with Mount Ebulobo trek - both in Boawae area. No facilities, bring water. Ask for ikat weaving - Nagekeo style different from Ngada. Perfect for travelers who have seen Bena and want more authentic, off-beaten-path Ngada experience without crowds!
