Named after the village, Tengku Lese or locally called Cunca Lega is a breathtaking panoramic two-tiered waterfall with massive amounts of water plunging to its bed, decoratively surrounded by acres of rice terraces.
Why It's Special:
1. Two-Tiered & Highest in Manggarai

2. Rice Terrace + Waterfall Combo
The setting around Cunca Lega is distinctly different from coastal Labuan Bajo. The waterfall sits approximately 700 metres above sea level, nestled within dense tropical forest. The waterfall is bordered on its western side by forest belonging to Bonar and Pong Lengor villages, while the eastern side opens onto the rice paddy lands of Rangges and Tengku Lese villages. Provides stunning views of paddies.
3. Authentic Trek Experience
Lies about 28km towards Cancar from Ruteng, about 29km by car from Ruteng to Nanu, and continue on foot, passed Tebo village with its nice scenery of rice field terraces. Before getting to waterfall get a trek or walk along 1 hour (about 700 meters from Tebo village, ca 45 minutes through spectacular rice paddy landscapes). On the way you pass plantations - coffee, candlenut, terraces as well as incredible panoramic views. People are very friendly and can guide visitors.
