Base: Ende or Maumere (middle point)
From Ende: βΌ1-1.5 hours east towards Maumere to Kota Baru area, then local directions to coast
From Maumere: βΌ1.5-2 hours west
Boat: From coastal village, charter fishing boat to Liaga Beach
Hike: 30-45 min uphill, moderate difficulty, open sun
Best Season: December-May - green savanna, most beautiful time. Dry season Aug-Oct very dry and brown but still dramatic
Guide: Recommended - ask in Kota Baru or local guesthouse
Entrance: Small donation to boat owner and village
