Collaboration between KKN-PPM UGM Ranamese and Pokdarwis Tunas Harapan brought Golo Loni Tourism Village to win 3rd Place Nationally. Golo Loni Tourism Village has strong natural and cultural tourism attractions.
Location & Overview:
Address: Jln. Trans Flores, Golo Loni, Kec. Rana Mese, Kabupaten Manggarai Timur. A village with 1,351 people and 332 families - the gateway to all attractions in Regional Conservation Resort (RKW) III Ruteng Nature Park. The village is located 22km from Ruteng.

Golo Loni has 20 ha of robusta and arabica coffee plantation. Average yield 30 ton/year. This area is high-quality coffee producing area in Manggarai. The study was conducted in Golo Loni Village because the area is a high-quality coffee producing area.
You can enjoy coffee with beautiful natural panorama at Kedai Simponi - rest area & tourism information center managed by Pokdarwis (Tourism Awareness Group). Various light menus such as coffee and snacks available.
How to Get There:
From Ruteng: Only 22km via Trans Flores Road - about 40-60 minutes from Ruteng to Ranamese Lake, right at Golo Loni Village. Easy access, paved road.
From Borong: About 1.5 hours via Trans Flores
From Labuan Bajo: 2.5-3 hours to Ruteng, then 40 min to Golo Loni
Facilities: Kedai Simponi (coffee & snacks, info center), toilets, photo spots, homestays, local guides for river tubing & birdwatching.
Best Time: Morning for birdwatching at Ranamese Lake, afternoon for Golo Depet sunset.
