Waiplatin is one of the leading natural tourism objects owned by the East Flores Government. Located in Mokantarak Village, Larantuka District, only about 11 km from Larantuka City and right on the edge of the main Larantuka-Maumere highway, this object is very easy to reach - only 15 minutes by car from the city center.

1. Natural Hot Springs on The Beach
The main attraction is hundreds of natural hot water sources that appear directly on the beach. The water comes from the foot of Mount Kadeka. Because it is located on the shoreline, the hot fresh water from the mountain mixes naturally with the salty sea water.

The temperature is different in every spot - from comfortably warm for bathing to very hot. Local people have neatly arranged stones to separate each pool, so you can choose the temperature you like. In the hottest spot, the water is so hot that locals joke you can cook instant noodles in it!

2. Beautiful Beach and Mangrove Forest
Besides the hot springs, Waiplatin also has a beautiful beach with a direct view of the sea and the majestic Ile Mandiri mountain range.
