Taman Kota Felix Fernandez Larantuka is a city center park with a beautiful mountain landscape right behind it. The cluster of small islands off the coast of Larantuka is also seen very clearly. With only paying for vehicle parking, you can sit and relax enjoying the park with various colorful flowers and charming natural panorama.

This park is named after Felix Fernandez, a former Regent of East Flores who passed away on March 23, 2016. His legacy includes this City Park which is now named Taman Kota Felix Fernandez, Weri Sports Hall (GOR Weri), Waiplatin-Oka Hot Springs Tourism Area, and the Tourism Information Center in Boru, border of East Flores and Sikka Regency. His name is immortalized as Taman Kota Felix Fernandez in Larantuka, which has become the icon of the city.

It includes Street Fashion Shows by students of SMK Katolik Hendricus Leven Larantuka and many other cultural performances.

• NTT Mart and Local Products: On February 5, 2026, the 20th NTT Mart By Dekranasda in East Nusa Tenggara Province was inaugurated here, attended by the Governor of NTT and the Regent of East Flores, with about 200 participants. It is the center for showcasing local MSME products.

• Job Fair and Community Events: The Job Fair 2026 with the theme "Find Your Opportunity Today, for a Better Future" is scheduled for July 30-31, 2026 in Taman Kota Felix Fernandez. Also health checks, cheap markets before Eid and Semana Santa, and many other community events are centered here.
